The Indian Railways has launched SwaRail on February 8, 2025, a new "super app" designed to consolidate various railway services into a single, -friendly platform. Developed by the Centre for Railway Information Systems (CRIS), this app aims to streamline the travel experience by integrating multiple functionalities previously available on separate applications.

Currently in beta testing on both Android and iOS, SwaRail seeks to simplify everything from ticket booking to grievance reporting.

What is SwaRail App?

SwaRail is an all-in-one mobile application that integrates multiple public-facing services of Indian Railways1. It eliminates the need to juggle between different apps for various railway-related tasks. The goal is to provide a unified platform where s can access all essential services, making train travel more convenient and efficient. SwaRail is designed to be a one-stop solution for booking tickets, checking PNR status, ordering food, and more.

How to Use SwaRail
